Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice Pilaf

Butter chicken or murg makhani, is a dish originating in 1947 by founders of Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi, India. The dish was made "by chance" by mixing the leftover chicken in a buttery tomato sauce. Perhaps now the most famous of Indian dishes, this recipe is flavour packed without being too spicy.

This delicious curry comes served with a basmati rice pilaf.

Ingredients: Chicken, chilli, coriander, cream, lemon juice, yoghurt, garam masala, fenugreek, vegetable oil, onion, tomato puree, chilli power, cashew nut, butter, cream and garlic.
